Bespoke Spaces, Built Once, Built Right

Home theaters, spa baths, accessibility modifications, wine cellars, custom workshops, and themed interiors — for the projects most contractors won't take on.

The Challenge

Most builders steer clients to 'standard' for a reason

A standard bath kit installs in two days. A spa bath with a tile-set steam shower, heated bench, integrated lighting, and continuous-pour stone takes two weeks and a crew that has done it before. Most GCs lose money on specialty work, so they don't bid it competitively — or they bid it and then cut corners to make their margin back. A to Z bids these projects accurately and runs them properly.
Our Approach

Done-right tolerances on done-once projects

Specialty remodels live or die on details: vapor barriers behind steam-shower tile, dedicated 20-amp circuits for theater amplifiers, ICC-compliant ramp slopes for ADA. We plan these projects in 3D before we order materials, coordinate with audiovisual and lighting designers from day one, and run them with a project manager who has done your project type before.
  • 3D planning and material mockups before commitment
  • Coordination with AV, lighting, and interior design consultants
  • ADA / ICC accessibility compliance experience
  • Custom tile and millwork installation
  • Smart-home and integrated-lighting pre-wire

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Q.What counts as specialty remodeling?

Anything outside a standard kitchen or bath — home theaters, wine cellars, spa-style master baths, accessibility modifications, themed playrooms, custom workshops, smart-home integration, soundproof studios.

Q.Can you handle accessibility and ADA modifications?

Yes. Roll-in showers, widened doorways, ramp installations, kitchen-height variations, grab bars and reinforced blocking. We can also handle visitability upgrades for aging-in-place.

Q.Do you work with audio-video integrators?

We coordinate with your AV partner from the design phase so wire pulls, equipment racks, sound isolation, and HVAC accommodate the gear before walls go up.

Q.Are specialty remodels worth the cost at resale?

Mixed. Spa baths and finished basements usually return well. Highly personal spaces (themed playrooms, dedicated theaters) often don't recoup at sale but add real quality-of-life value while you live in the home. We'll be honest about which is which.
